Designed for connecting cables with aluminum or copper conductors to power supply system components with voltages from 110 to 220 kV.
Porcelain end sleeves
High-voltage cable joints MKF for 110 kV – 220 kV
Details
The joint is a structure made of brown glazed porcelain, filled with electrical insulating oil.
A rubber or silicone stress cone is used to equalize the electric field, depending on the operating temperature conditions.
The stress cone is covered with a protective material and has a spring mechanism, ensuring reliable contact with the cable's semiconductive layer.
The ribbed insulator effectively prevents surface discharges caused by contamination.
The porcelain insulator, made of high-strength inorganic material, has excellent weather resistance, protection against tracking and arc damage, and high hydrophobicity.
