High-voltage MCC for 110 kV – 220 kV
Designed for connecting cables with aluminum or copper conductors to power supply system components with voltages from 110 to 220 kV.
The joints are installed on poles or supports.
The joint consists of a fiberglass-reinforced epoxy resin structure. The construction is filled with electrical insulating oil and covered with a silicone sleeve applied using the direct casting method.
To equalize the electric field, a rubber or silicone stress cone is used, depending on the operating temperature conditions. The stress cone is covered with a protective material and has a spring-loaded holder to ensure reliable contact with the cable's semiconducting layer.
The ribbed insulator effectively prevents surface discharges caused by contamination.
The fiberglass-reinforced tube provides high mechanical strength.
