Rated voltage
110 - 220 kV
Operating conditions
Operating conditions
-40...+60 °С

Used for connecting power cables with aluminum or copper conductors to switchgear cells in gas-insulated switchgear or to transformers, with operating voltages of 110-220 kV.

These couplings are designed to operate both in SF6 gas environments and with insulating liquids.

Details

The coupling consists of a plug-in part and an epoxy insulator, which contains a stress cone for electric field equalization.

The electric field equalization cone is made of rubber or silicone. To maintain technical characteristics throughout the service life, a spring-loaded stress cone holder is provided.

To prevent moisture from entering the coupling structure, a sealing system in the form of a cable gland for various types of screens and cable armor is used.

An optional adapter can be installed to connect the MKSH plug-in coupling to the live parts of a gas-insulated switchgear.

The installation dimensions of the MKSH end plug-in couplings fully comply with IEC 62271-209 and GB/T 22381 standards.
