Operating conditions
-40...+60 °С

Designed for connecting high-voltage cables with aluminum or copper conductors and cross-linked polyethylene insulation, rated from 110 to 220 kV. The joints provide electrical insulation and a sealed connection, preventing current leakage and ensuring safe power transmission, which is achieved through the heat-shrinkable material forming the core of the cable joint.

Details

Joints are manufactured with various designs of screens and metallic sheaths: versions without screen separation (MSP) and with screen separation (MST). The joint housing is made of durable material, and the sealing materials included in the kit provide waterproofing and corrosion protection. To level the electric field, a rubber stress cone (temperature range from -40°C to +60°C) or a silicone stress cone (temperature range from -60°C to +50°C) is used. The joint design includes an optional fiberglass-reinforced housing filled with a two-component resin, which serves for sealing the connection and ensuring the joint’s waterproofness. Durable and high-quality materials ensure a long service life without the need to replace or maintain the joints.
