RTK-ELECTRO produced cable buses for the modernization of the Sterlitamak CHPP
The company «RTK-ELECTRO» (part of the NEC Industrial Group) supplied busbars and busways to the Sterlitamak CHP, located in the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The Sterlitamak CHP is modernizing the TG-9 turbogenerator to upgrade generating capacities as part of the federal state program KOMMod. «RTK-ELECTRO» products will ensure reliable power supply at the CHP’s production facilities. The modernization of energy equipment will improve the reliability of the entire energy system and reduce the environmental impact of the power plant.
As part of the project, «RTK-ELECTRO» manufactured a batch of TPL busbars with RIP insulation. The modern TPL busbar will be installed from the main outputs of the turbogenerator to the disconnect switch, as well as from the disconnect switch to the wall penetration. Recently, the batch of busbars was shipped to the Sterlitamak CHP along with a kit for fire-resistant busbar wall and floor penetrations.
Previously, for the needs of the Sterlitamak CHP, «RTK-ELECTRO» produced a series of fire-resistant TKLN busways to connect the transformer and the AC power section. In addition, a set of TKLS busbars with molded insulation was manufactured to branch off from the TPL busbars and connect to the high-voltage transformer outputs.
The KOMMod program (competitive selection of thermal generation modernization projects) is aimed at stimulating investments in equipment modernization as well as constructing new modern generating capacities. The program was approved by the President of the Russian Federation and endorsed by the government in 2019.
The Sterlitamak CHP is located in the city of Sterlitamak, Republic of Bashkortostan, and is part of the Bashkir Generating Company – a subsidiary of Inter RAO.
